The Micro-Pro insert tool is designed as a  solution to the smaller shaper. It has a small diameter of 4 inches. It is available in 35mm, 50mm, and 60mm widths to accommodate different profiles. They are  available with bore sizes from 3/4” To 1-1/4” diameter. It is also available in 6061 aircraft aluminum to reduce weight for smaller arbors.

This tool can handle all of the same things you would expect from the Multi-Pro, but it is best suited for a machine that has a smaller spindle size than most. Weight can become an issue with those. If you run a small shop and have small equipment, than this is the best thing for doing your work. It's solid, accurate, and easy to use.
